Announcing “Classical Five
Element Acupuncture”
We are excited to
announce that we are offering the highly specialized style of acupuncture
called “Classical Five Element Acupuncture.” This has required us to receive
extensive training beyond the basic training that is required from acupuncture
colleges. Classical Five Element Acupuncture is effective in the treatment
of physical and emotional imbalances. This system focuses on restoring
and strengthening a flow of life force energy – called Qi (Chee) – at
a deep level. It not only enhances healing of the body, mind and emotions,
but it also supports an elevation of consciousness and an awakening of
the spirit.
We are happy with
the results we have seen in our patients receiving this style of acupuncture.
This type of deeper healing is transformative, long-lasting, and complete.
After a treatment, one may feel renewed vitality and clarity, as well
as a sense of ease and peace. Please feel free to inquire about Classical
Five Element Acupuncture. We will be happy to answer any questions and
to set up your next appointment using this style of acupuncture.

What is Five Element Acupuncture?
Classical Five Element
Acupuncture is also called Five Element Constitutional Acupuncture and
has its roots in the Han dynasty (202 BC - 220 AD) classics of Chinese
medicine. It is an ancient form of acupuncture that views clients from
a holistic perspective.
Holistic treatments
aim to heal at all levels – at the body, mind, heart, and spirit levels
of being. In this way, this form of acupuncture can enable an individual
to move into harmony again in all aspects of their life. This harmony
is achieved by an acupunturists view of the person as a whole being, operating
at several different levels, as well as viewing them with understanding
of the symptoms with which they struggle. A Five Element practitioner
places great importance on having a thorough understanding of not only
the person, but also their environment, their history and the Five Elements
working in their life and in their relationships.
The Five Elements
are: Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood. Each of these help create who
we are and how we function in the world. We are, as is our world, made
up of each one of these elements. In Classical Five Element Acupuncture,
there is thought to be one main or root cause for most of a patient’s
presenting symptoms. This weakness is an element that is causing the presenting
symptoms and stopping the growth of the person as a whole. This weakened
element is known as the persons Causative Factor or C.F. Each person has
a different causative factor and then undergoes treatments specific to
their own causative factor. Please call today for your appointment and
experience the difference for yourself!
